CARAT Annual Report FFY 2020

CARAT Annual Report Coverpage

This has been a challenging year for so many and we are pleased to be able to present positive work happening across the Commonwealth specific to the refurbishment and reuse of assistive technology.

The goal of Project CARAT is to make assistive technology and durable medical equipment more accessible to those in need. We are proud to take items, once destined for the landfill, and sanitize, repair, recycle, and redistribute this equipment to greatly improve the quality of life for many Kentuckians.

We are looking forward to a new year and new opportunities for growth, volunteerism, and positive impact.

On behalf of the community members we serve, thank you for being a part of our growing success.

Michael Karman, Statewide Project CARAT Program Coordinator

In FFY 2020, Project CARAT distributed 2,075 pieces of AT/DME across the Commonwealth to 478 individuals, valued at $587,858.
